Embarked at Fremantle 18 January 1916 per A7 Medic. Wounded in action in France 3 October 1917, again on 19 May 1918, a third time on the 10 June 1918 and a fourth and final time on 9 August 1918. RTA 13 December 1918 per A63 Karoola and discharged 2 January 1920. Service medals: 1914-1915 Star, BWM, and VM. Cottesloe and district Honour Rolls.
