Born at Adelaide, Sth Aust, CoE. Enlisted 5th March 1915 age 25, draper. Nok mother, Maggie Bodinner, Elizabeth St, Cottesloe. Embarked at Fremantle 29 June 1915 per A11 Ascanius. At Gallipoli 22 September 1915 he suffered gunshot wounds to the mouth and neck and with the added complication of pneumonia, was transferred to a hospital on Malta. RTA 22 April 1916 per A29 Suevic suffering cardiac dilatation and discharged 26 May 1916. Service medals: 1914-1915 Star, BWM and VM.
