Born at Northam WA, CoE. Enlisted 2 August 1915 age 23, clerk. Nok father, Edwin Harry Bowra Eric St, Cottesloe. Embarked at Fremantle 2 November 1915 per A38 Ulysses. Wounded in action 6 May 1917. Returned to the battalion 10 May 1917 and RTA per A68 Anchises. Service medals: 1914-1915 Star, BWM and VM. Residing at Eric St, in 1920.
