Born 19 April 1889. He was a 26 year old master printer married to Mary May Bryan of 182 Murray St, Perth when, on 20 March 1916, he received a commission in the AIF. On 7 June 1916 both his commission and service was terminated (no explanation in file). He did not leave Australia and had no medal entitlements. Mayor of Cottesloe 1924-1928.
