Embarked at Melbourne on 17 January 1917 per A5 Omrah. Served in England and France 1917 to 1919. RTA January 1920. His name was brought to the notice of the Secretary of State for War for his valuable service rendered in connection with the war. Appointment terminated 14 April 1920.
