Born at Windsor Melbourne, CoE. Enlisted 19 October 1914 age 25, farm labourer. Nok wife, Olive Annie Debnam of 5 Derby St, Leederville and when widowed, at Swan St, Cottesloe Beach. Embarked at Fremantle 8 February 1915 per A47 Mashobra. Wounded at Gallipoli and died of wounds at Mudros on 25 September 1915. Lone Pine Memorial, Gallipoli Turkey. Service medals: 1914-15 Star, BWM and VM.
