Nok father, Walter Augustus Gale 280 Walsh St, South Yarra. Embarked at Melbourne 9 November 1917 per Port of Sydney formerly A15 Star of England. Served in England 1917 and France in 1918. RTA February 1919 per Czarita, a former Russian ship. Service medals: BWM and VM. Cottesloe and district Honour Rolls.
