Born at Fremantle, WA, RC. Enlisted 25 March 1917 age 30, warder. Nok wife, Esther Hayes of Horgan St, Cottesloe Beach. Embarked at Fremantle 29 June 1917 per A30 Borda. Served in France 1917-18 and was wounded, gassed on 14 June 1918. RTA June 1919 per Konigin Luise and discharged 5 September 1919. Service medals: BWM and VM.
