Born at Adelaide Sth Aust. CoE. Previously served 5 years Naval Reserve. Enlisted the 28 June 1915 (3 July elsewhere) age 20, clerk. Nok father, Albert Walter Jackson of Ocean Road Cottesloe Beach. Embarked at Fremantle 13 October 1915 per A32 Themistocles. Served in France 1916-18. He was injured when he fell under the wheels of an Australian vehicle resulting in damage to his thighs and pelvis. RTA June 1919 and discharged 25 September 1919. Service medals 1914-1915 Star, BWM and VM.
