Born at Beechworth Victoria, Presbyterian. Enlisted 18 February 1915 age 18, student. Nok Mrs Kyle of Egan St, Kalgoorlie. Embarked at Fremantle per A20 Hororata 26 April 1915. Taken POW in France in April 1917 at Reincourt and repatriated to England in December 1918. In later years Kyle resided at 4 Ozone Parade Cottesloe. RSL member. Service medals: 1914-1915 Star, BWM and VM.
