Born at South Yarra, Victoria, CoE. Enlisted 13 January 1915 age 23, clerk. Nok father, John Morrow of Eric St, Cottesloe. Embarked at Fremantle 19 April 1915 per A8 Argyllshire. Served at Gallipoli in 1915 and the Middle East 1916-1918 and suffered bomb wounds to his left leg at El Arish, on 14 November 1917. RTA invalided in November 1918 per Port Darwin. Service medals: 1914-1915 Star, BWM and VM.
