Born at Ballarat Victoria, Presbyterian. Enlisted 6 November 1916 age 34, a manager at Bairds Co., Perth. Nok wife, Lucy Mary Morrow of Forrest St, Cottesloe. Embarked at Fremantle 29 December 1916 per A34 Persic. Served in France and Belgium where he died of wounds 12 October 1917. Buried Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery, Belgium, 3 kilometres SW of Poperingle. Service medals: BWM and VM.
