Born at Cawarral, Qld, RC. Enlisted 8 March 1915 age 30, prospector. Nok wife, Mary Francis Neale, Orlando St, Cottesloe Beach. Embarked at Fremantle 29 December 1915 per A34 Persic. Hospitalised with influenza and RTA October 1916. Returned to Europe in March 1917 and served in France. RTA June 1919. Service medals: 1914-1915 Star, BMW and VM.
