Born in Victoria. Enlisted 21 June 1915 age 26, bank clerk. Nok father, Andrew Thomas Norrie of Leake St, Cottesloe Beach. Embarked at Fremantle 31 March 1916 per A9 Shropshire. Served in the Middle East, England and in France. Much of his term in the army was in hospitals with a range of illnesses. RTA Berruna, September 1919. Service medals: BWM and VM.
