Born at Pymble NSW, CoE. Enlisted 18 February 1918 age 19, clerk. Nok mother, Margaret Orr of Pymble NSW. Completed his recruit training at the Sydney Show Ground and embarked from Sydney 6 June 1918 per RMS Orontes. Serving in France in December 1918 and RTA May 1919. Service medals: BWM and VM. In later years Phillip Orr resided at View St, Peppermint Grove.
