Born at North Fremantle, RC. Enlisted 29 July 1915 age 18, engineer. Nok mother, Mary Moran, of Murray Rd, Bicton, WA. Embarked at Fremantle 22 November 1915 per RMS Mongolia. Wounded in action in France on 22 – 27 July 1916 and 2nd time on 6 May 1917. RTA 12 May 1919 per Soudan. Service medals: 1914-1915 Star, BMW and VM. Cottesloe and district Honour Rolls.
