Born at Moulamein, NSW on 12 September 1887, CoE. Enlisted 4 June 1918 age 30, labourer. Nok wife, Mary Ellen Schmidt, Victoria Ave, Rocky Bay, North Fremantle. Embarked at Albany 27 July 1918 per A74 Marathon to London. Served in England and France. RTA February 1919. Service medals: BWM and VM.
