Born at Wangaratta Victoria, CoE. Enlisted 29 May 1916 age 24, machinist, Nok wife, Sara Louise West, Keane St, Cottesloe Beach. Embarked at Fremantle 13 October 1915 per A39 Port Macquarie. Wounded in action in France on 8 June 1917. RTA November 1917. Service medals: BWM and VM.
