Born at Northam WA, RC. Enlisted 12 June 1917 age 18, plumber. Nok mother, Mary Weston of Gibney St, Cottesloe. Embarked at Albany 24 July 1917 per A16 Port Melbourne. Wounded in action in France 5 April 1918. RTA July 1919 and discharged 16 September 1919. Service medals: BWM and VM.
