Born at Chatham, Kent, CoE. Enlisted 25 September 1915 age 23, house decorator. Nok father residing in Kent. Thomas was residing at Osborne John St, Cottesloe at time of his enlistment. Embarked at Fremantle 18 January 1916 per A7 Medic. It appears from his records that in France in 1916 he was wounded three times: on 29 July, 16 August and 6 November. Service medals: BWM and VM.
