Yelverton, Henry George

62895 Pte Western Australian Reinforcements.

Born at Quindalup, WA, CoE.  Enlisted (by service record) 19 June 1918 age 39 years, farmer/saw miller. Nok wife, Eleanor Francis Yelverton of Quindalup. His parents lived at Napier St, Cottesloe. Embarked at Fremantle 29 October 1918 per A36 Boonah. When the ship reached South Africa the War had ended and Henry returned to Fremantle in December 1918. The Boonah disembarked its passengers at the Woodman Point quarantine depot due to the high incidence of Spanish influenza on the ship. Henry is the brother of Hilton* and Mervyn Yelverton.
