Born at Bendigo Victoria, Methodist. Enlisted 30 October 1916 age 31, clerk. Nok father, Alfred George Loveland of Perth St, Cottesloe. Embarked at Fremantle 29 June 1917 per A30 Borda. He suffered a head wound in France on 19 June 1918. RTA for discharge 23rd of September 1918. Service medals: BWM and VM.
