Born Victoria, Methodist. Enlisted 2 October 1916, orchardist. Nok Parents Beverley Mansley Bennett and Ruth Bennett later of Grant St, Cottesloe. Embarked at Fremantle 14 January 1917 per A8 Argyllshire. Died of wounds in France on 9 August 1918. Buried at St, Sever Cemetery Rouen France. Bennett’s effects were: part of a cigarette lighter, 3 writing pads, letters, cards, metal chain, notebook, handkerchief, small religious book, photos and letters. Service medals: BWM and VM.
