Born at Eastbourne, England, CoE. Enlisted 6 August 1916 age 23, drover. Nok mother, Judith Bolton, Keane St, Cottesloe. Embarked at Fremantle 1 November 1915 per A24 Benalla. Served in Middle East. Gunshot wound to the foot 20 April 1917 at Abbassia. Promoted to L/Cpl 23 February 1917. RTA per City of Exeter for Australia 28 January 1919. Discharged 12 April 1920 and died 15 December 1938. Service medals: 1914-1915 Star, BWM and VM.
