Embarked at Fremantle 2 November 1914 per A11 Ascanius. Served in Gallipoli. Declared killed at Gallipoli on 25 April 1915 by Court of Enquiry. Memorialized at Lone Pine Memorial, Panel 33. Amongst his belongings forwarded to his father was a Life Saving Medal engraved with his name. Australian Roll of Honour shows he was a land surveyor with architecture training. Service medals and award(s): 1914-15 Star, BWM and VM.
