Born at Ballarat Victoria, RC. Enlisted 17 June 1915, age 18, clerk. Nok father, William Thomas Casey, of Anstey St, Osborne (later Claremont) Embarked at Fremantle 23 July 1915 per A64 Demosthenes. Did not see any active service due to illness. RTA in April 1916. Service medals:1914-1915 Star, BWM and VM. His pension papers give his address as Anstey St, and his service numbers W237351 suggesting WW2 service. He died in 1941.
