Born at Kew, Victoria, CoE. Enlisted 19 November 1914 age 20, labourer. Nok mother, Alice Victoria Chandler of The View, John St, Cottesloe. Embarked at Fremantle 22 February 1915 per A50 Itonus. Served in Gallipoli 1915. Wounded at Gallipoli and died of illness in Alexandria in June 1915. Buried Alexandria Chatby Military and War Memorial Cemetery. Service medals: 1914-15 Star, BWM, and VM.
