Born in Victoria, RC. Enlisted 23 July 1915 age 24, labourer. Nok mother, Mrs Rosina Clancy of 30 Tuckfield St, Fremantle. Embarked at Fremantle 4 October 1915 per A20 Hororata. Served in Egypt 1916 and in France 1917-18. He married Florence Maud Adams in England on 5 May 1919. RTA in May 1919. Service medals:1914-1915 Star, BWM and VM. Cottesloe and district Honour Rolls.
