Born at London, England, CoE. Enlisted 28 November 1917 age 37, coachbuilder. Nok wife, Jessie Winifred Critchley of Grant St and later the cnr Eric and Marmion Sts, Cottesloe. Embarked at Sydney on 8 May 1918 per Osterley. Served in England and France and RTA June 1919 for discharged on 24 June 1919. Service medals: 1914-1915 Star, BWM and VM. Died on 8 September 1936.
