Embarked Melbourne 22 December 1914 A40 Ceramic. Wounded at Gallipoli on 2 May 1915 and a second time on 7 August 1915. Reported ill in October and RTA per RTA A54 Runic with suspected tuberculosis November 1915. The file suggests following the deaths of three brothers at Gallipoli he was suffering severe mental stress and the suspected tuberculosis diagnosis may be an honourable pretext to get him out of the war zone.
