Daly, Edmund Alexander Joseph

Born at Guildford WA, RC. Enlisted 5 December 1914 age 24 miner. Nok father, Patrick Daly of Cottesloe, and mother M. Daly of Napier St, Cottesloe. Embarked at Melbourne 22 December 1914 per A32 Themistocles. Served at Gallipoli. In France he suffered a wound to his left arm on 25 July 1916. Invalided to England. Back in France he was severely wounded on 6 May 1917. RTA Hospital Transport Western Australia. His injuries affected his feet and thighs and he received a war pension of 60 shillings per fortnight from 1 March 1918. Service medals: 1914-1915 Star, BWM and VM.
