Born at Pt Pirie Sth Aust. CoE. Enlisted 24 January 1916 age 27, insurance inspector. Nok father, Andrew Dungy address unknown. His mother, Florence Dungy resided at Princess St, Cottesloe. Embarked at Fremantle per A29 Suevic on 6 June 1916. While in France he was wounded on three occasions: 14 March 1917, 12 October 1917 and 4 June 1918 (also shown as 12 August 1918). He was granted three months leave in England and RTA per A9 Shropshire in December 1919. Service medals: BWM and VM.
