Born at Melbourne, CoE. Enlisted 21st of June 1915 age 20, motor driver. Nok parents, John and Isabella Edmonds of Henry St, Cottesloe. Edmonds embarked at Fremantle 2 September 1915 per A 68 Anchises for the Middle East and is recorded being at Tel-el-Kabir and Alexandria. He died on 12 February 1919 of acute bronchitis and influenza at the 373 General Hospital France and was buried at Terlincthun British Cemetery, Boulogne, Wimille, France 1 mile north Boulogne, France.
