Born Brighton England, C o E. Enlisted 9 August 1915 age 21, labourer. Nok father, George Edmunds Swan St. Nth Fremantle then at Mason St, Nth Fremantle. Embarked at Fremantle 1 November 1915 per A24 Benalla. In France, slightly wounded on 18 August 1916 and again 1 December 1916. Rejoined his unit and wounded a third time on 18 September 1918.
