Embarked at Sydney on 10 June 1918 per A18 Wiltshire. Served in Egypt 1918. RTA January 1919 per A64 Demosthenes to complete his university course. Awarded BWM only. The Sunday Times 18 December 1927 recorded him as a solicitor under power of attorney. The West Australian 30 June 1920 refers to motions for admission to the law courts and 17 September 1928, to an application for appointment re Public Notaries Act.
