Born at Albany WA, Congregational. Enlisted 4 November 1915 age 18, station hand. Nok father, George Thomas Fruin of Mason St, North Fremantle. Embarked at Melbourne 5 January 916 A19 Afric. In France in 1916 and RTA per Soudan in May 1919. Service medals: 1914-1915 Star, BWM and VM. Later residing at 53 Hawkstone St, Cottesloe.
