Born at Wellington, Somerset, England, CoE. Enlisted 21 February 1916 age 44, labourer. For next of kin he wrote ‘no relations’, and gave his postal address as Baker St, Beaconsfield. Embarked at Fremantle 1 June 1916 per Warilda. Served in France in 1916. RA May 1917 per A32 Themistocles. Discharged 13 July 1917 and died 16 November 1936. Service medals: BWM and VM.
