Harvey, Cecil Leonard

Born at Bromley, Kent England, CoE. Enlisted 17 August 1914 age 24, commercial traveller. Nok father, in England. Embarked at Fremantle 2 November 1914 A11 Ascanius. Wounded at Gallipoli in August 1915 with severe concussion of the spine. In England after the Armistice he was granted leave April to October 1919 to attend Trinity College of Music, London, to study voice production.  In 1941 Cecil Harvey’s address was 3 Federal St, Cottesloe. He was president of the Cottesloe RSL 1931-1938, a member of the Cottesloe RSL Cricket Team 1932-33 and Mayor of Cottesloe 1961-1974. Service medals: 1914-1915 Star, BWM and VM.
