Born at Essendon, Victoria, Theosophist/CoE. Enlisted 2 June 1916 age 28, university instructor. Nok wife, Elizabeth Louise Hill of The Wattles, Broome St, Cottesloe. Embarked at Albany 8 May 1918 per Port Darwin. Served in England 1918, Egypt 1919. It seems that his service was in varying educator roles for the army. RTA August 1919 per Delta. Awarded R.S Badge, BWM and VM.
