Born at Fremantle, CoE. Enlisted 24 January 1916 age 28, machinist, Nok at Swan St, North Fremantle, later times at Subiaco and at North Perth. Embarked at Fremantle per A29 Suevic. Killed in action in France 16 February 1917 and buried at Cite Bonjean Military Cemetery, Armentieres, France. His wife received a fortnightly War Widows pension of 30 shillings.
