Born at Streaky Bay Sth Aust. CoE. Enlisted 27 February 1917 age 23, motor mechanic/driver. Nok wife, Mary Hudson of Fairlight St, Cottesloe Beach. Embarked at Fremantle 22 May 1917 per A15 Port Sydney. Served in Egypt 1917-1919 and wounded to the scalp at Port Said 2 April 1918. RTA July 1919. Service medals: BWM and VM.
