Born Northam, WA. CoE. Enlisted 4 January 1916 age 26, labourer. Harry was a widower and specified his Nok as his daughter, Gladys Hyde of c/o Watson Supply Stores, Cottesloe WA. Embarked at Fremantle 17 April 1916 per A60 Aeneas. Served in France 1916-1917. Spent a number of months in hospitals due to illness. RTA 20 December 1917 and discharged 27 February 1918. Service medals: BWM and VM.
