Born Cottesloe, CoE. Enlisted 11 April 1917 age 18, butchers assistant. Nok mother, Sylvia Gladys Jones Murray St, Bayswater. Discharged 21 January 1918 being under age. He re-enlisted in October 1918 and was discharged after the Armistice, 24 December 1918. Cottesloe and district Honour Rolls.
