Born at Geraldton, CoE. Enlisted 26 June 1915 age 26, motor expert. Gave his address as Geraldton and his Nok as his mother, Mrs Janet Growden of Nangeenan, WA. Embarked at Fremantle 13 October 1915 per A32 Themistocles. Served in Egypt 1916. RTA January 1917. Admitted to hospital at Fremantle and discharged 21 March 1917. He was residing at East Fremantle at time of his death in 1923. Service medals: 1914-1915 Star, BWM and VM. Cottesloe and district Honour Rolls.
