Nok wife, Linda Marion Knowles c/o Mrs Russell, Bay View Terrace, Claremont and c/o TSG Hall, Aldgate, Grange St, Osborne, (now in Claremont). Embarked at Albany on 23 July 1917 per Port Melbourne. Served in France. RTA 6 October 1919 per Pakeha. A letter dated in 1919 includes the address, Avonmore Tce, Cottesloe Beach and another letter of 23 August 1920 addressed to 18 Broome St, Cottesloe Beach, informing Harold of his commission as temporary 2nd Lieutenant. Service medals: BMW and VM.
