Born at Albert Park, Victoria and enlisted 7 September 1914 age 25, firemen. Nok mother, Theresa Mary Lyons of Hehir St, Belmont WA and later at Leederville and later in Marmion St, Cottesloe. Embarked at Sydney 18 October 1914 per A23 Suffolk. Killed in action at Gallipoli 6-9 August 1915. Grave site unknown. His name is on the Lone Pine Memorial Gallipoli panel 16. Service medals: 1914-1915 Star, BWM and VM.
