Born at Dunedin, New Zealand, CoE. Enlisted 16 February 1916 age 44, clerk. Nok wife, Annie Lillian Bertram Marsh, Warton St, Cottesloe Beach. Embarked at Fremantle 6 June 1916 per A29 Suevic. A patient at Fargo Hospital, England from 27 August to 26 September 1916. RTA and discharged 11 June 1917. Died at the No 8 Australian General Hospital, Fremantle 25 January 1921 and buried at the Karrakatta General Cemetery, Ang OC 422. Service medals: BWM and VM.
