Born at Glasgow Scotland, Presbyterian. Enlisted 3 April 1916 age 26, cook. Parents dead, Nok brother, George McAllister of Davies Rd, Claremont. Embarked at Fremantle 20 September 1916 per A66 Uganda. Serving in France he suffered a severe head wound on 5 April 1918 and RTA September 1918. Service medals: BWM and VM. Cottesloe and district Honour Rolls.
