Born Euro, Victoria, RC. Enlisted 12 February 1917 age 38, school teacher at Cottesloe. Embarked at Melbourne 30 October 1917 per A60 Aeneas. Wounded in France 24 April 1918 and died of wounds 6 May 1918. Buried at the Mont Huon Military Cemetery on the southern edge of Le Treport, about 24 kilometres NE of Dieppe, France. Service medals: BMW and VM.
