Born at Mowbray, Leicestershire, England, CoE.  Enlisted 8 September 1914 age 23, farmer.  Gave his postal address as Ellen St, Fremantle and Nok (relationship not specified) as Frank Miller at Milton Mowbray, Leicester, England.  Embarked at Fremantle 2 November 1914 per A11 Ascanius.  Wounded in the shoulder at Gallipoli, date not specified, and shellshock also at Gallipoli in June 1915. Service medals: 1914-1915 Star, and presumably the BWM and VM by England. He was discharged from AIF in England in 1916 and granted a commission in the British Army.  Later resided in England. He does not appear to have returned to Australia. Cottesloe and district Honour Rolls.
